Engineer fire stopping cables through a riser wall in an office building

About the service

Fire safety in a commercial building depends on lots of small details being right: gaps sealed where services pass through walls, emergency lighting that works when the power fails, and walls and ceilings that hold back fire the way they were designed to. We install and maintain those measures, and put right the issues flagged in fire risk assessments.

What we do

  • Fire stopping and penetration sealing around cables, pipes and ducts
  • Emergency lighting installation, testing and certification
  • Fire-rated ceilings and partitions
  • Remedial works following fire risk assessments
  • Fire safety work as part of our fit-out and maintenance projects

Where we work

Responsible persons, facilities managers, landlords and contractors who need their building's fire safety measures installed, maintained or brought back up to standard.

One team for the whole job

Because our team also installs ceilings, partitions and electrics, we know exactly where fire safety can be compromised during a job and we deal with it as we go. You get one contractor, one standard and the paperwork to show what was done.

Common questions

Can you fix issues from our fire risk assessment?
Yes. Send us the relevant findings and we'll quote for the remedial work, whether it's fire stopping, emergency lighting or fire-rated construction.

How often does emergency lighting need testing?
A short functional test every month and a full duration test once a year, with every test recorded in a logbook.

Why does fire stopping matter?
Fire compartments are designed to slow the spread of fire and smoke. Unsealed gaps undermine them, which puts people and property at greater risk.
